VIRTUES AND PROPERTIES OF THE BLOODSTONE IN LITHOTHERAPY
THE VIRTUES AND PROPERTIES OF THE BLOODSTONE ON A PSYCHOLOGICAL LEVEL
Known as the "Supreme Protector," bloodstone provides powerful protection on an energetic level. It combines the virtues of green, which brings purifying energy, with the vitality of red. Its energy speaks, in itself, of life, vitality, strength, and courage. A grounding and controlling stone, it promotes a more effective connection to one's inner strengths. People overwhelmed by discouragement, uncertainty, or fear will be able to regain, thanks to it, the serenity, courage, and self-confidence necessary to make decisions and choices. Extremely beneficial for self-control, it will soothe difficult temperaments and bring stressed people a great sense of balance, calm, and peace.
A protective stone, bloodstone protects against bad intentions, acts as a bulwark against negative emotions, and protects against accidents. On a psychic level, it promotes spiritual development and helps find one's path by stimulating creativity and developing intuition. Placed on the bedroom dresser or directly under the sleeper's pillow, it protects against nightmares and improves dream recall. On a karmic level, the sacral chakra and the heart chakra benefit from the properties of this stone
